Is this girl really mean and rude or is it just my imagination?

i have a problem like this at my school and it got to the point where she told me and my friend to go to hell so we went to talk to the principal about it and the principal said that she is not respected, she thinks that making fun of you will get her the respect that she needs but infact it does the exact opposite!
