What mascara should I use to prevent this from happening?

The best drugstore mascara ever is definitelycover girl lash blast. it is in an orange tube. you can get it almost anywhere for about 17$ (in aus) you can choose from many colours, i think there is very black otherwise the black one is still really dark. if you curl your lashes, i would get the waterproof version as it does the same thing but holds curl, because it is waterproof.
